Life is filled with challenges, and seeking counselling is a personal decision. The relationship between counsellor and client is crucial in therapy and finding the right counsellor after deciding to seek therapy is the next essential step in the process.

I strive to provide a therapeutic environment that is sensitive and welcoming, allowing you to explore your unique circumstances in a safe and confidential space.

During the introductory appointment, you can ask questions about counselling and we will talk about your reasons for seeking therapy and what you would like to get out of it. If you feel we are not a good match, there is absolutely no obligation to continue after the first session.

Reaching out for help…..

There are some common signs of needing help with emotional or psychological stress include changes in sleeping or eating patterns, difficulty concentrating, increased irritability, or feeling overwhelmed.

If you are experiencing prolonged feelings of helplessness and sadness, if you are finding that your problems persist despite efforts from yourself or loved ones, struggling to concentrate on daily tasks, experiencing excessive worry or anxiety, or engaging in harmful behaviours such as substance abuse or aggression. These signs can indicate that professional support may be helpful in addressing and managing these challenges.

When you notice that negative thoughts or emotions are impacting your ability to fully enjoy life, it may be beneficial to seek support from a trained counsellor. They can assist you in developing coping strategies and navigating through whatever obstacles are hindering your happiness. Taking this step can lead to a more fulfilling and content life. It is important to prioritise your mental well-being and seek the help you need to overcome any challenges you may be facing.
