Who Kelly Works With
Kelly works with adults looking for relational trauma therapy who are affected by relational trauma and broken trust.
These experiences can take many forms and may not always be immediately recognised as trauma. Often, they are woven into early attachment relationships, family dynamics, friendships, or intimate partnerships.
You may recognise yourself here if you have experienced:
- Abandonment or emotional neglect
- Narcissistic, controlling, or inconsistent parenting
- Harmful or confusing family dynamics
- Betrayal within an intimate relationship
- Broken trust in friendships or close relationships
- Repeated patterns that leave you feeling hurt or unsure of yourself
Relational trauma does not only relate to what happened. It also relates to how those experiences continue to shape your sense of self, your emotional steadiness, and your relationships now.
Some people come to therapy after being betrayed.
Others come because they have betrayed someone and are struggling with guilt, confusion, or a desire to understand their own patterns more deeply.
Relational trauma can influence how we cope, how we protect ourselves, and how we relate to others. Therapy offers a space to explore this carefully and without judgment.
This Work May Be Helpful If
You want to:
- Understand how early experiences continue to affect you
- Feel more emotionally steady
- Rebuild trust in yourself
- Develop clearer boundaries
- Respond rather than react in relationships
- Build healthier, more secure ways of relating
You do not need to arrive with clear answers. Therapy can be a place to begin making sense of what has felt confusing or overwhelming.
A Steady and Thoughtful Space
Kelly offers online therapy for adults across the UK, as well as face-to-face sessions in a calm, rural setting.
